Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Grand Show website and the booking of our event entertainment and special-effects services. By accessing our site or booking with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

Grand Show provides event entertainment (including our Polar Bear Show) and professional special effects such as confetti, streamers, smoke bubbles, bubbles and fog, for events across Metro Vancouver and British Columbia. Specific inclusions are confirmed in your individual quote or booking agreement.

2. Bookings, Quotes & Availability

Quotes are based on the details you provide and are subject to availability until confirmed. A booking is only confirmed once we have agreed the details in writing and received any required deposit.

3. Payment & Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure your date, with the balance due as set out in your booking. Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and may include applicable taxes and travel fees depending on your location.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Deposits may be non-refundable, and cancellation terms will be set out in your booking agreement. We will always do our best to accommodate reasonable changes.

5. Client & Venue Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring we have safe access to the venue, adequate space and power where required, and any necessary venue permissions for entertainment and effects. Some venues restrict confetti, fog or open effects — please confirm with your venue in advance.

6. Safety

Our team operates all equipment and effects with safety as the priority. We reserve the right to modify or pause any effect if conditions are unsafe for guests, staff or the venue.

7. Photography & Media

We may capture photos or video of our work for portfolio and promotional use. If you prefer that we do not, simply let us know in writing before your event and we will respect your request.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grand Show is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos and branding — is owned by or licensed to Grand Show and may not be used without our written permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
